What areas does The Health Media Centre work in?

What is the HEREMI project?
HEREMI (Healthy and Resilient Minds) is a digital mental health literacy project. It uses digital education to build mental health literacy, foster resilience, and support recovery across the mental health continuum in Uganda. Please see the HEREMI project page for further information.
Does The Health Media Centre publish research?
Yes. Our founder, Dr. Anne Nattembo, has published research on health communication and mental health representation on social media. Please see the Health Communications Research page for a full list of publications.
Does The Health Media Centre support journalists covering health stories?
Yes. Public Interest Health Journalism is one of the organisation’s three pillars. It supports accurate, timely health reporting through editorial services and media training.
